Audiomack is a music streaming platform with over 25 million monthly active users – the leading DSP in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean. Audiomack is focused on emerging artists, genres, and scenes, such as hip-hop, Afrosounds, electronic, Caribbean, and more.

Current responsibilities include:

  • Negotiate/structure worldwide content and data licensing across master, performance, and mechanical rights for ad-tier, subscription, and on-demand digital sales business models
  • Partner with labels, distributors, publishers, PROs, CMOs, artists, and other rightsholders
  • Build and utilize bespoke data tools (SQL) and market research to target territories for content/user acquisition
  • Develop new cross-sector strategic business development partnerships and revenue opportunities

Banquet – Co-Founder, Head of Operations

April 2021 – august 2022

Banquet is a creative studio and agency. Working with a small team, I had my hands across the board:

  • Designed operational structure and company strategy
  • Oversaw marketing, project managers, accounting and legal processes 
  • Project managed our top accounts and collaborators

Little Worry – A&R Scout

April 2021 – August 2021

I joined Little Worry (a JV with RCA) when it was formed. Through DSP and social media scouting and data tracking, I delivered weekly reports of independent artists and community-driven influencers to consider each week, helping to shape, and then scout for, the goals and vision of the label.

Treble – Editorial Director

April 2020 – April 2021

Treble is LinkedIn for creatives in the music industry. My north star was understanding the needs of Treble’s diverse community of musicians, visual artists, and industry professionals to inform product and curatorial features.

  • Directed day-to-day operations of company
  • Sourced revenue and brand partnership opportunities for company, artists and community members
  • Developed internal data systems to better understand community need and network effect
  • Designed platform UI features and created bespoke curation tools
  • Helmed digital marketing strategy, created and produced original content series’ collaborating with acts such as PinkPantheress, Johan Lenox, Dev Lemons, Boyish, Unusual Demont, and more.

Among a small A&R department, I led scouting initiatives through:

  • Weekly research reports of independent artists and relevant social/sales data
  • Outreach and meetings with prospective artists and managers
  • Revamping and managing the department’s administrative needs, including databases, trackers, accounting, and artist budgeting.

Electric Lady Studios – Studio Intern

May 2019 – August 2019

During my internship at the legendary studio, I learned the ins-and-outs of the recording process at the ground level from both business and technical perspectives. I regularly interfaced with Grammy-winning artists, creating an environment conducive to creative expression at the highest level of service, leaving with a fundamental knowledge of the recording and studio process.
